Registered at Jeddah Islamic Port, this acquisition represents a major step in advancing Saudi Arabia’s logistics and maritime capabilities, in alignment with Vision 2030. The move highlights FOLK Maritime’s commitment to becoming a vital contributor to the Kingdom’s emergence as a global logistics hub.
About the Vessel: Folk Jazan
Built in 2008 by Zhejiang Shipbuilding Co., China, Folk Jazan is designed to meet modern shipping standards with a nominal capacity of 2015 TEU. Its design optimizes operational flexibility and allows FOLK Maritime to scale its service network across strategic maritime routes. The vessel has already begun operations across the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf, strengthening regional connectivity and trade.
